FRANK SACKS, USPTA/PTR- (President)

Frank is a certified member of both the U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the U.S. Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and is a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA).  He has over 30 years of tennis teaching experience as the Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach at Northeastern Illinois University, Niles West, Niles North and Lincoln Park High Schools. Frank has taught youth and adults and directed programs at some of the finest clubs, camps, schools, park districts, cities, villages and resorts in the United States, including John Gardiner's Tennis Ranch in California, Tam Tennis & Fitness Complex, Touhy Tennis Club, and the East Bank Club.  He holds an undergraduate degree in education from Drake University (where he co-captained the men's tennis team) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Loyola University. Frank directs one of the most successful tennis programs in the United States with over 5,000 students participating in tennis programs throughout the north and northwest Chicago suburban area.  Frank Sacks has been recognized as a leader in the grassroots tennis movement in the United States by the United States Tennis Association and has developed one of the largest USA Tennis 1-2-3 and USA Team Tennis programs in the nation.

JASON R. THOMAS, PTR( Director of Tennis Operations)

Jason is a certified member of the Professional Tennis Registry.  He is a graduate of Chicago's Kenwood Academy where he was a member of the varsity boy's tennis team.  Jason qualified for the IHSA State Boy's Tennis Tournament three years (once in doubles and twice in singles).  He attended Hamilton College in Clinton, New York  where competed on the men's tennis team for three years and also was honored as captain of the team.  Jason has been a member of the Frank Sacks Tennis Camps tennis instructional staff for the past five years. He has developed a tremendous following of students of all ages who love his enthusiasm, knowledge of the game, and strong motivation skills..  He is FSTC's head professional  for youth programs and has served as Director of the popular Pee Tennis Camp and Jr. Stars Tennis Camp programs. Jason also taught tennis for United States Tennis Association's community outreach programs in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. 

DAVID BOUTWELL, PTR

Dave is a certified member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).  He joined the Frank Sacks Tennis Camp instructional staff in 2000.  Dave is currently the Director of Tennis for the Frank Sacks Tennis Camps programs in Barrington, Illinois.  He taught tennis at the Farmington Bath and Tennis Club, Northbrook Racquet Club, Northbrook Park District, and the Wheeling Park District before joining the FSTC team.  He is a graduate of Glenbrook North High School where he was a member of the IHSA State Team Champions in 1999.  Dave is a graduate of the University of Illinois- Champaign, and is currently attending graduate school at the John Marshall College of Law in Chicago.  Dave's tireless work ethic, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail have been key to the success and growth of the FSTC programs in Barrington.

DON WALTON, PTR

Don is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).  He is the chairman of the USTA Midwest Section Multi-Cultural Committee and is well-respected as a long time leader in the grassroots tennis movement.  He is currently in his second career as Director of Truancy for Evanston- Skokie School District #65, having retired from his first career with the Evanston Police Department.  A long-time Evanston resident, Don has directed tennis programs in Evanston for many years, including community programs at Fleetwood-Jourdain Community and ETHS.  He continues to conduct programs at ETHS for Adults and Youth.  He is Director of Community Tennis for the City of Evanston, a program that serves at-risk youth throughout the year.  Don has been the Assistant Director of the FSTC Evanston Junior Tennis Camps at Lovelace Park for several years, and has made a major impact on the success of this flagship program.  Don continues to be a leader and an inspiration to many as he continues to develop his "Tennis in the Schools " program that provides free tennis instruction at Evanston-Skokie School District #65 elementary schools throughout the school year.

JOLANTA JEDRZEJEWSKA, USPTA/PTR

Jolanta is a native of Kalisz, Poland and is a certified member of both the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR).  She holds a Master of Science in Ecology from the Polytechnical Institute of Cracow, Poland, and has had additional studies in educational psychology.  Jolanta has extensive tennis instructional experience and was previously a tennis professional at the Deer Creek Courts in Highland Park.  She is currently a member of tennis professional staff at the AC Nielsen Tennis Center in Winnetka.  Jolanta has been a member of the FSTC staff for several years where she has become a favorite of patrons for her enthusiasm, dedication to excellence, and solid on court organizational skills.  Jolanta is also well-known as the Tournament Director for the Chicago Polish-American Tennis Association

ALEX LISICA, USPTA

Alex is a  top certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association  (USPTA) at the professional one level.   He is currently on the tennis professional staff at the Lakeshore Athletic Club and Downtown Athletic Club in Chicago. He is well know in Evanston competitive tennis circles as singles and doubles champion in numerous local tournaments.  A native of Croatia, Alex is a multi-talented athlete and instructor.   He was a professional soccer player in Europe.  He has a dedicated student following that enjoys his commitment to excellence and serious approach to the game.  Alex continues to be on the cutting edge of his profession, and is a true student of the game of tennis.  Alex uses his vast knowledge and experience to bring out the best in his students.
